Location and area
In the city center of Essen Borbeck you live centrally in a small town of your own. The house is located in a green belt and is in a quiet area. You can easily do your daily shopping on foot. Pharmacies, doctors, hospital, bakeries and stores are just a few minutes’ walk away. A visit to the “Dampfe” (steam beer brewery) is highly recommended. Here you can see parts of the production process from the guest room and take a look at the beer kettles. In summer, the beer garden offers a great atmosphere. For culture and recreation, Borbeck Castle and the English-style castle park offer plenty of space for relaxation and invite you to take a walk. The A40 Ruhr freeway can be reached in approx. 15 minutes. The nearest shopping centers are also only about 15 minutes away by car. Essen city center is approx. 15 minutes by car and approx. 25 minutes by public transport; Messe Essen is approx. 20 minutes by car and approx. 40 minutes by public transport. Public parking is not a problem in the quiet side street.
