Booking & Payment

How do I book my dream apartment?

Choose the apartment that best suits your needs and budget from our range. Then simply click on “Inquire now” and tell us your time period and your contact details. You will usually receive an offer within 48 hours. If you agree to the booking, your accommodation will be reserved for you.

You will then receive the binding booking confirmation with all the details from your host. Everything works very quickly and easily – like booking a hotel.

Alternatively, you can of course also make an individual inquiry using our contact form.

How do I pay the rent?

Since we work with a large number of different hosts, the payment methods also vary: They range from cash on arrival to credit cards.

As a rule, you will find the payment methods offered for the apartment of your choice in the detailed description of the apartment. If you don’t find it there, the host will inform you about the accepted payment methods in their booking confirmation.

What does the ZEITQUARTIER service cost me?

Nothing! All ZEITQUARTIER services are free of charge for you as a guest or interested party. You don’t have to pay anything, neither for the offer we have created nor for a successful booking.

Is a deposit required?

That depends on the respective host. In general, however, the following applies: There is usually no deposit required for shorter rental periods.

For rental periods of one month or more, many hosts require a deposit – usually one to two months’ rent. The deposit is there to help hosts protect themselves against possible damages. A maximum of three months’ rent is legally permitted for the deposit. You have to pay the deposit before moving in.

If there is no damage, you will receive the deposit back within 14 days of moving out.

Is there a mandatory rental period?

Our apartments can often be rented for as little as three days. Some hosts offer their furnished apartments from one week. Others require a minimum rental period of one month.

How long you want to live in your dream apartment is up to you: Several days, weeks and even years are possible.

Can I book the apartment I want without visiting it?

All furnished apartments offered on the ZEITQUARTIER website can be booked without viewing.

Our promise: We know all of our furnished apartments and hosts very well. We have been working closely with some hosts for many years.

The informative photos and descriptions also give you a very good impression of the apartments. And should any questions arise, we’re at your side to advise you personally.

Whom do I conclude the rental contract with?

You conclude the contract with the host of your dream apartment.

We support you personally with the booking and research, create a personal offer for you and then make a binding reservation for the apartment of your choice.

Of course, you can also contact us after you have made your booking if you have any further questions.

Can I simply terminate my rental contract?

Whether you can simply terminate your rental contract depends on the individual agreement you have made with your host.

If you have not made any arrangements, which is generally the rule, especially for short rental periods, early termination depends on the goodwill of your host. Theoretically, your host can claim the full rent in such a case.

Generally hosts charge a small fee for early termination.

If you cannot reach an agreement with your host that suits you, please contact us. We will work together to find a solution that is fair to all parties.

Can I also rent my dream apartment at short notice?

Booking with ZEITQUARTIER is quick, easy and straightforward.

Our range of furnished apartments is available to you online 24 hours a day. Generally you will receive an offer for the apartment of your choice within 48 hours.

Depending on availability, you can move into the apartment in a few days – sometimes even the next day. We try to accommodate any needs.

What do I do if the booking for the apartment of my choice has been cancelled by the host?

In very rare exceptional cases it can happen that you cannot move into the apartment of your choice. In most cases, your host will then try to offer you a suitable alternative.

If this doesn’t work, we will be happy to find you an apartment with comparable furnishings. Our ZEITQUARTIER customer service is available to you personally.

Can I view the apartment of my choice beforehand?

It is of course possible to visit your dream apartment first. In consultation with us, your host will usually be happy to show you the apartment.

But please understand that viewing is only possible if the apartment you want is not rented out.

What do I do if I want to extend the rental period for my dream apartment?

If you would like to extend your stay in the apartment of your choice, simply contact ZEITQUARTIER customer service. We will be happy to coordinate the extension with the host.

If it isn’t possible for you to extend your stay, we will of course be happy to help you find a suitable alternative.

Are there any additional costs in addition to the monthly rent?

In most cases, our stated rental prices are inclusive prices, i.e. they include all additional costs, VAT and final cleaning.

However, some hosts charge for the final cleaning, and in some cases the additional costs are also charged according to your individual consumption. However, this is always clearly shown in our offers, so you know exactly what costs you will have to pay before you make your booking.

Does ZEITQUARTIER also offer rooms with flexible occupancy times for technicians and workers?

No problem – many of our hosts offer your apartments for as little as three days. You have the option then to only pay for the days that you are there – even if your professional assignment extends over several weeks.

Depending on the furnishings in the apartment, flexible occupancies with different numbers of people are also possible. Tell us your budget and we will find the right accommodation.

What happens if I accidentally cause damage in the apartment where I am staying?

That happens sometimes. Please inform your host immediately. You then decide together whether and how the damage can be repaired.

Our hosts are often generous when it comes to small things, and in the case of more extensive damage, it can be handled via your deposit or your insurance.

Do I have to do a final cleaning?

No, you don’t have to do a final cleaning.

It is often already included in the price or some hosts will invoice you in addition. However, this is always clearly stated in the offer.

How do I get the key to my dream apartment?

You work out all the details together with your host. After you have made a binding booking, we will send you all the contact details for your host. Then you can easily clarify the details about handing over the keys.
